NOTHING MISSING

“And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.” (Luke 8: 48)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, after the woman with the issue of blood told Jesus the tale of how and why she touched the hem of His garment, Jesus told her to “go in peace”. The word ‘peace’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘shalom’, whose extended meaning is ‘nothing missing, nothing broken’. So, Jesus proclaimed to that woman that there shall be nothing missing and nothing broken. Her journey was to be nothing missing and nothing broken.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the conclusion of your journey shall be nothing missing and nothing broken. The results of your efforts will be nothing missing and nothing broken. The endpoint of your battles will be nothing missing and nothing broken. The endpoint of every conspiracy will be nothing missing and nothing broken. The endpoint of every affliction the enemy threw at you will be nothing missing and nothing broken.

Just when the woman with the issue of blood had received her healing, ready to go, Jesus proclaimed that she should go in peace. So, the next step of her journey after being healed, was going to be nothing missing and nothing broken. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the next level of your journey will be nothing missing and nothing broken. Your tomorrow will be a tale of nothing missing and nothing and broken. Your future shall be in peace.

Every plot of the enemy to cause unrest in your journey, I decree, it will not prevail. Every conspiracy to cause you to walk in darkness, I decree, it will not stand. Every power of hell that says you will continually fight battles but never be in peace, I decree, their end has come. Your peace will not be exchanged with trouble. Your peace will not be tampered with. Your peace will not be mixed with disaster and calamity.

Welcome to a new season where your journey will be in peace and never in crisis. Welcome to your new season of nothing missing and nothing broken.

Psalm 37: 37 says: “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.”
