NOT BY DRAMA

“For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” (John 5: 4)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

At the pool of Bethesda, an angel came at certain seasons, and whoever was first to step into the pool was healed of whatever disease he had. The protocol at Bethesda was such that an angel was needed, and the stirring of the waters was needed. Jesus showed up at Bethesda, and without an angel and stirring of water, He healed the man at the pool. Without the drama of the angel, and stirring of water, the miracle came forth.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will carry your evidence without drama. You will carry your results without drama. It may seem like nothing is happening, but your evidence will come forth. It may seem like there is no hope of progress, but El Roi will make all things new. It may seem that your case is closed, but without any drama, your portion will arrive at your doorstep. Without any protocols, your portion will come to you.

Others may have got their portion with a lot of drama involved, but for you, there will be no drama. Others may have waited to see the rain or the clouds, but for you, you may not see the rain, you may not see the wind, but your valleys will be filled with water. Your portion will come your way even when there are signs to the contrary. Your portion will come without needless razzmatazz. Your portion will come effortlessly.

Drama may have been the wrapping sheet for the portion of others, but for you, without the drama, without the tension, without the fanfare, without looking like it is coming, you will get what the Lord has ordained for you, nothing missing, and nothing broken. You will not be caught up in the drama that affected others. You will not be delayed by the issues that got in the way of others.

Welcome to that season where heaven will release your portion regardless of what is not adding up. Welcome to that season where your portion will come to you without drama.

2 Kings 3: 17 says: “For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.”
