NO DARKNESS

“And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:” (Luke 8: 41)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of the man Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, who reached out to Jesus on account of his daughter who was at the point of death. The name ‘Jairus’ means ‘one giving light’. The name of Jairus was synonymous with light, yet his reality was darkness and negativity. His name screamed light, but his reality was darkness. His name spoke of light, but his reality was a tale of the satanic covering of death.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every darkness that has come to dwell in your home, I decree, it ends now. I decree an end to every darkness in your marriage. I decree an end to every darkness in your home. I decree an end to every darkness in your health. I decree an end to every darkness in your finances. I decree an end to every darkness in your ministry. I decree an end to every darkness in your inner man. I decree an end to darkness.

Jairus’ name was symbolic of light, yet the reality in his home was death and darkness. His reality was the very opposite of his name. Hear me as I hear the Lord: it will never be said that you had a great name, yet experienced a reality that is negative. It will never be said that you had the light of God in you, and yet experienced darkness. It will never be said that you served God, yet the Sun of Righteousness did not arise on your behalf.

El Roi has called you by a new name, better than the name of sons and daughters. You will not be called by the name of the Lord, and yet walk in darkness. You will not be called by the name of God, and yet struggle under the weight of satanic load. You will not be called by the name of the Lord, and yet live in the trap of the enemy. You will not be called by the name of the Lord, and yet your reality will be the opposite of the plan of God.

Welcome to your new season of living the will of God. Welcome to that season where no darkness will prevail over your dwelling.

Job 28: 3 says: “He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.”

Declare With Me: I decree an end to every darkness in my dwelling, in Jesus’ name!
