LIKE A DREAM

“And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.” (Acts 12: 9)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

As Peter arose and followed the Angel of the Lord, everything that was being done for him seemed like he was in a vision. What the Lord did for Peter seemed too good to be true. Peter was about to be brought out to the people and condemned to death by Herod, but the miraculous deliverance that the Lord granted him seemed like a dream. The works of God in the life of Peter seemed like a vision. The works of God seemed like a dream.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to witness that miracle that will seem like a dream. You are about to witness that mind-blowing wonder of God in your life that will seem like a dream. You are about to receive the help that will seem like a dream. You are about to receive that elevation that will seem too good to be true. You are about to receive that divine intervention that will be so unbelievable even to you.

God wanted to set Peter free from the hands of Herod, and He did it in a manner that shocked even Peter himself. What God did for Peter was so difficult for even Peter himself to believe. What God did, seemed like it could not possibly be done. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your next miracle will get you thinking whether you are dreaming or awake. Your next testimony will get you wondering if it is for you or for someone else.

Herod had done the best he could do to keep Peter in prison, while waiting to bring him forth after Easter to kill him. Herod made arrangements that would make an escape from prison seem impossible, but the God of impossibilities chose to visit the prison and do the impossible for Peter. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you see that thing you have called an impossibility? God is about to make it happen for you. God will make it possible.

Welcome to your season of impossibilities made possible. Welcome to that season where the Lord will cause you to have that miracle that seems like a dream.

Psalm 126: 1 says: “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.”

Declare With Me: I receive that miracle that seems like a dream, in Jesus’ name!
