ACTIVE DOORS

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Corinthians 16: 9)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Apostle Paul speaks of the door that was open to him. Apart from being called a great door, it was also called an effectual door. The word ‘effectual’ as used in that scripture, comes from the Greek word ‘energio’, which is interpreted to mean ‘to be powerful’, ‘to be forceful’, ‘to be active’, ‘to be operative’, just to mention a few. So, what was opened to Paul was an active, forceful, powerful, operative door.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not just have doors open to you, but the doors will be powerful. The doors that God is opening to you will be active doors; they will not be dormant doors. The doors that God is opening to you will be fully operative, fully functional and result producing. The doors that God is opening to you will come with the force of heaven. The doors that God opens to you will be effective.

Notice that this was a door of opportunity opened to Paul, for effective ministry. It was a door opened for him to make impact. It was a door of important results. Hear me as I hear the Lord: when your doors open, it shall be for effective impact. When your doors open, it shall be for important results. When your doors open, it will be for visible growth and impact. When your doors open, it will be for you to rise higher. Your doors will not be dormant.

The days of open doors that make no difference in your life, are over. The days of open doors that are basically dormant and inoperative, are over. The days of open doors that will not move you forward, are over. The days of open doors that will not bring you the results you need, are over. The days of open doors that literally mock and defeat the very essence of open doors, are over. You will not have open doors that leave you empty handed.

Welcome to your season of active doors. Welcome to your season of effective doors. Welcome to your season of highly operative doors. Welcome to your season of forceful doors.

Zechariah 8: 12 says: “For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.”

Declare With Me: My doors will not be dormant; I shall have active doors opened to me, in Jesus’ name!
