YOU WILL WIN

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” (Revelations 12: 5)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when the child that was brought forth by the woman faced with a dragon, was caught up to God and His throne. It already seemed that the dragon was about to prevail; it seemed that there was no help waiting for the woman; but in a dramatic twist, help came to take her son beyond the reach of the dragon. At what seemed like the dying minute, help came to turn the story around.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: there is about to be a last-minute redemption plan for every battle the enemy has raised against you. It may seem that the enemy is about to prevail, but in the last minute, help will come your way. When it seems all hope is lost, God will still do something that will shock you and embarrass your enemies. When it seems, it is too late to help, God will cause your story to be turned around for your good.

The dragon had crowns on its seven heads, and was probably gearing up to show why he wore seven crowns, when God caused something new to happen unexpectedly. Hear me as I hear the Lord: even if it seems that the enemy is about to prevail against you, God shall arise with His mighty arms and grant you victory. Even if it seems that hell is already about to prevail, the mighty hands of El Roi will turn the tables in your favour.

The year may be about to end, but there is still time for new victories from the Lord. There may not be enough time for things to turn around, but the God who dwells in eternity has all it takes to make all things new in your favour. There may not be enough time for victory according to the calculations of men, but by the hand of God, victory is still assured. If God be for you, there is enough time to put the enemy to shame in your life.

Welcome to that season where the God of the eleventh hour will cause victory to show forth for you even when all hope is lost. Welcome to your season of last-minute victories.

Psalm 18: 39 says: “For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.”
