YOU WILL NOT DIE

“For it was so, while Jezebel massacred the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah had taken one hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty to a cave, and had fed them with bread and water.” (1 Kings 18: 4 NKJV)


That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.


Our Focal Scripture makes mention of how Jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord. These people did not commit any crime; they were simply massacred for being prophets of the Lord. They were killed because they chose to stand in the name of the Lord. They were killed for choosing to stand strong in their assignment. They were killed because they chose to do what is right. They became victims for doing the right thing.


The spirit of Jezebel is that spirit that wants to make you a victim for doing what is right. The spirit of Jezebel is that spirit that wants to take you down the drains because you chose to stand by what is right. The spirit of Jezebel is that spirit that wants you to go down because you chose your assignment over safety or pleasure. The spirit of Jezebel is that spirit that wants to kill a man who has done nothing wrong.


Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not die in 2026. You will not be a victim in 2026. You will not suffer for choosing what is right in 2026. You will not have your life wasted in 2026 for choosing good over evil. You will not go down for choosing to stand by what is right. You will not be a victim of your good works. You will not be cut short because you chose to serve the Lord. You will not die for choosing godliness over ungodliness.


Jezebel woke up and decided to massacre the prophets of the Lord. These men were not soldiers who fought with their swords and died in battle. They were defenseless, innocent prophets who could not defend themselves and were killed at the behest of Jezebel. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any wicked man that will wake up one day to decide that you must die, whatever grave they have dug for you, may they fall into it.


You will not die; you will not be a victim. You will not go down. You will not be killed.


Psalm 118: 17 says: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”


Declare With Me: In 2026, the earth will not receive my body or the bodies of my loved ones, in Jesus’ name!
