YOU ARE ABOVE

“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” (Revelations 12: 15)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the dragon released a flood out of his mouth, against the woman, so that she could be carried away by the flood. Notice that at this time, the dragon had been cast down to the earth. Notice also that the woman was given the wings of a great eagle, and she flew on those wings into the place prepared for her. While the dragon was sending a flood on the earth, she had wings to fly above the dragon.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: by reason of the glory of God upon your life, you have risen with Christ, far above principalities and powers. You are risen on eagle’s wings, and you are no longer within the reach of the dragon. Whatever efforts the dragon makes against you, El Roi has given you wings to fly over it. Whatever negativity that is being projected against you, El Roi has taken you above it. You are above satanic machinations.

What the dragon did not know was that as he was being cast down, the woman was being given wings to fly higher. While the dragon was demoted from celestial to terrestrial placement, the woman was elevated from terrestrial to celestial placement. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you are moving from your current level to higher levels that will make you unreachable to the enemy. You are elevated above your adversaries and pursuers.

Jesus did not redeem you so you can remain on the same level you were before redemption. Jesus redeemed you so that you can be seated above principalities and powers. He redeemed you to operate above the levels of the spiritual wickedness in high places. He redeemed you to defeat the works of darkness. He redeemed you to operate above the level of the enemy. He gave you a place higher than dragons.

Live in the consciousness that you are not in a rat race with the dragon. Live in the consciousness of the higher levels where God has placed you.

Ephesians 2: 6 says: “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

Declare With Me: I am above the schemes of the enemy, in Jesus’ name!
