“3. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4. And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.” (Matthew 28: 3-4)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the angel of the Lord came down with a countenance like lightning, with garments that were white as snow. When the keepers at the door of the sepulcher beheld the glory of the angel, they shook and were in fear, and became as dead men. The fear of what they saw, drove them into a state of fear. They were mortified by the sight of glory. They bowed at the sight of the glory on the angel.
Friend, when you show up with glory, negativity will bow. When you show up with glory, the things that are not in your favour will bow to you. When you show up with glory, systems and structures that are standing against you will bow to you. When you show up with glory, battles will make way for victory. When you show up with glory, even enemies will become messengers of your rising. Glory is your pass-code for systems to bow.
If the glory of God does not rub off on you to the extent that you radiate the glory, the things and people who ought to bow to you may not bow. If you do not sufficiently engage the glory of God to overshadow your life, you may end up struggling with things that should bow to you. The glory that is yet to rub off on your life, might just be the reason why you are not yet prevailing over the satanic gatekeepers against you.
It was when Jesus went to the mount of transfiguration, that He prayed and the fashion of His countenance was altered. Prayer caused glory to appear on His life. When you spend time in prayer and in communion with God, you are simply being clothed with the glory of God. When you engage in prayer, you unlock the supply of the spirit of God, and glory will follow. There can be glory in your voice. There can be glory on you.
This is that season when you must be deliberate to manifest the glory of God. You were never meant to walk with God and not be clothed with glory.
2 Corinthians 3: 18 says: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Declare With Me: I walk in glory; I am clothed with glory, in Jesus’ name!
