SPEAK OF HARVEST

  • May 11
  • 2 min read

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13: 30)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, with the tares still on ground, the householder began to speak of the time of harvest. Tares were on ground; difficulties were on ground; but the householder began to speak about the time of harvest. What could stop the harvest was on ground, but he kept speaking of the time of harvest. Everything was yet to align, opposition was on ground, humanly speaking, but he continued to speak of harvest.

Friend, even if you are seeing tares at the moment, keep speaking about your harvest. Keep speaking about what the Lord is about to do in your life. Keep speaking about the divine intervention that is set to come your way soon. Keep speaking about the open doors that are coming your way. Keep speaking about the divine announcement that is coming your way. Keep speaking about your harvest, irrespective of the tares.

The householder was aware of the tares before he began to speak about the time of harvest. Issues were on ground that could potentially hinder the harvest, but he made a proclamation about the time of harvest regardless. Even if the issues that want to get in the way of your harvest are on ground, keep speaking of your harvest. Ignore the tares, ignore the economy, ignore the haters, and keep speaking about your harvest.

If Jesus has redeemed you, then you have no business becoming the announcer of the tares that the enemy planted. It’s not your job as a child of God to keep speaking about the tares that are planted in your field. It is not your assignment to keep announcing what the enemy has done to prevail against you. It is not your job to keep announcing negativity, when the Lord is standing by to help you prevail over the negativity.

Speak right in this season and beyond. Speak of what the Lord is about to do. Speak of the harvest that is coming your way. Stop speaking about the tares.

Numbers 14: 28 says: “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:”

Declare With Me: I will keep speaking about my harvest, in Jesus’ name!
