PUSHED TO EL ROI

“And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?” (Genesis 16: 13)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Prior to our Focal Scripture, Hagar had despised her mistress because she had a son and her mistress had none. She eventually fled Abraham’s home because her mistress dealt hardly with her. When it seemed that she had been pushed way by the hard treatment of her mistress, she ended up encountering God in the wilderness. What seemed like hard treatment, pushed her closer to be seen by El Roi. Rejection led her to El Roi.
Friend, in 2026, everyone who rejects you is setting you up to be seen by El Roi. Those who close doors against you are triggering your open doors from El Roi. Those who disqualify you are making you a candidate of the mercies of El Roi. Those who exclude you are pushing you to the place where God will include you. As they say no to you, they are simply making God to say yes. When they push you to the wilderness, El Roi will show up for you.
When it seemed that Hagar had been pushed out, she was actually pushed closer to the place where she would be seen by the God who sees her. Their rejection was a set up for divine intervention. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every rejection will turn to a set up for divine intervention. Those who fail you will hasten the works of God in your life. Those who reject and dislocate you will turn around to see that they made God show up.
You may need to be grateful to those who reject you. They are only pushing you closer to be seen by El Roi. El Roi pays special attention to those who have been rejected by men, that He may show them mercy and keep His eyes on them. There is a God who favours the weak, rejected and dejected folks, and keeps them safe from the wishes of those who pushed them away. There is a God who is not as wicked as those who rejected you.
2026 is that year where the rejection of men will open the chapters of divine acceptance. Welcome to that season where El Roi will upgrade you when men reject you.
Psalm 27: 10 says: “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.”
Declare With Me: In 2026, those who reject me will push the eyes of El Roi to turn in my direction, in Jesus’ name!
