NOT BY OPPOSITION
“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13: 30)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, the householder told the servants to allow the tares to exist side by side with the wheat, until the time of harvest. Ordinarily, tares are weed that will compete with the wheat for nutrients; but the householder instructed his servants to allow the tares to remain with the wheat. The householder instructed the servants to allow the competitor to remain; he instructed them to allow what was against the wheat to remain.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the tares that want to compete with your wheat, your harvest will not be undermined. No matter the rivals that are chasing the same things you are chasing, you will not lose your place. No matter the elements of negativity struggling to exist in your space, you will not lose your portion. No matter how they plant themselves in order to undermine you, you will continue to prevail.
The tares that came to oppose the wheat were allowed to stay in the field, but it didn’t stop the harvest from the wheat. Opposition was allowed, but it didn’t stop anything. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your opposition can never stop where you are going to in destiny. The opposition can never hinder your progress or stop your prosperity. They will still be there, saying no, but the Lord will still do what He said He will do.
Stop fretting on account of the wickedness of the wicked. They can only make attempts at you, but the will of God will stand, nothing missing, nothing broken. No matter how they try to stop you, in their presence, you will still thrive. No matter how complicated their conspiracies are, you will prevail over the works of the enemy. No matter how it seems that they have succeeded against you, they will fail again and again.
Welcome to that season where you will thrive, no matter the conspiracies against you. Welcome to that season where the opposition cannot hinder your rising.
Psalm 37: 1-2 says: “1. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.”
Declare With Me: No opposition will stop my advancement, in Jesus’ name!
