NO RESURGENCE

“And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.” (2 Kings 11: 1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture introduces Athaliah, the mother of Ahaziah, king of Judah. Athaliah was the grand daughter of Omri, and daughter of Ahab. When it seemed that Jezebel was gone, Athaliah was the new generation Jezebel who recreated the wickedness of Jezebel. Athaliah was the next generation Jezebel who recreated bloodshed like Jezebel in Judah. People feared Jezebel, but there was an Athaliah waiting in future.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every ‘Athaliah’ that is waiting in the future to recreate past negativity, I decree, their end has come. I decree an end to every wickedness that is seeking to make a mess of your tomorrow. I decree an end to every satanic person that wants to make your destiny reduce to rubbles. I decree an end to every satanic usurper that wants to make you shed bitter tears. I decree an end to Athaliah.

Jezebel was gone, but she left behind an Athaliah that was willing to do even more evil than Jezebel was willing to do. Athaliah was that woman that arose to recreate a season of evil that had ended. Hear me as I hear the Lord: anyone that will arise to recreate the negative seasons that have ended in your life, I decree, let the fire of God consume them. Let the fire of God decimate every messenger of satanic reinvention.

Jesus did not go to the cross so that wickedness can get a second chance in your life. Jesus did not go to the cross so that you can have a satanic resurgence of whatever evil season that ended before now. I pray for you: it will never be said that there was a resurgence of wickedness in your life; it will never be said that there was a resurgence of the works of darkness around you; it will never be said that there was a resurgence of death.

Affliction will not arise a second time in your life. Whatever negativity the Lord has brought to an end in your life, will not arise again.

Nahum 1: 9 says: “What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.”

Declare With Me: Every demonic resurgence of negativity, end by fire, in Jesus’ name!
