MAN OR NO MAN

“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.” (John 5: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the man at the pool of Bethesda made mention of the fact that he had no man to put him in the pool. He also affirmed that each time he tried, someone else got there before him. Notice that when Jesus showed up, He didn’t call for a man; He simply healed the man at the pool. There was still no man, but Jesus caused healing to come forth. There was still no man, but Jesus caused the situation of the man to change.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: man or no man, El Roi will take you there. Man or no man, the Lord will open your financial gates. Man or no man, heaven will cause your portion to come your way. Man or no man, you will carry your evidence. Man or no man, you will rise to your high places. Man or no man, the evidence of your efforts will come forth. Man or no man, the will of God concerning your life will come to fruition.

You may not have the right men to make things happen for you, but El Roi will cause it to happen for you. You may not have people who are willing to support you, but God will cause you to have the support you seek. You may not have the men to open new doors and gates for you, but God Himself will make it happen. You may not have men to cause new things to come your way, but man or no man, El Roi will make it happen.

There are times when God will deliberately not allow the hand of man to be involved in your miracle, so that no man will share His glory with Him. There will be times when God will not allow anyone to help you as requested, so that you will look back in time and be sure that He alone made it happen for you. Men may show up, men may fail you, but be sure that the will of God concerning you will not fall to the ground.

Welcome to that season where the availability or unavailability of men will have nothing on your results. Whether there be a man to help, or none to help, the will of God will stand.

Psalm 60: 11 says: “Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.”
