LYING TONGUES

“And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.” (1 Kings 21: 10)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

One major part of the strategy of Jezebel against Naboth, was to position sons of Belial who would bear false witness against Naboth. Jezebel arranged to position people who would use lies, publicly, to destroy Naboth. The strategy for Naboth’s destruction, was to use lies. There was no real offence on the part of Naboth, and the only thing to do was to use lies against him. Jezebel positioned men to lie against Naboth, to get him killed.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every Jezebel that has positioned liars against you to ensure your downfall, I decree God’s judgement against them. I decree the judgement of God against every lying tongue that has been positioned against you. I decree the judgement of God against the wicked men that are using lies to de-market you. I decree the judgement of God against anyone that wants to use lies to set you up.

The sons of Belial accused Naboth in the midst of the people; Naboth could not defend himself, and the result was that he was stoned to death. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every messenger of hell that wants to use falsehood against you in 2026, let the Lord silence them permanently. Let the mighty hand of God crush and silence every wicked voice that is speaking lies about you and against you. Let the lying tongues be silenced.

What was said concerning Naboth was all falsehood, but he was punished with death as if those tales were true. Falsehood was treated as though it was true. No one even bothered to refuse or refute the falsehood. I pray for you: may people be discerning enough to know when they are being lied to, concerning you. May God show you mercy and cause lies that are told against you to fall like a pack of cards.

The lies of the enemy will not prevail against you in 2026 and beyond. You will not go down by the lies of men.

Proverbs 19: 9 says: “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.”

Declare With Me: Every lying tongue positioned against me, I silence you by fire, in Jesus’ name!
