IT WON’T BE TAKEN AWAY

“And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.”(1 Samuel 30: 2)


That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.


Our Focal Scripture makes mention of how the Amalekites took away both the small and great, amongst the wives of David and his men. Everyone that was taken away was not in the same category. Some were great and some were small. Notice that the enemy seemed to equalize both the great and small. The Amalekites did not show special consideration to those who were strong; they simply showed up and took everyone away.


Friend, I pray for you: you will not be lumped together with people you should be ahead of. You will not be a victim of what others are victims of. You will not be carried away by the same negativity that carried others away. You will not be brought down from your high places. You will not be made to assume roles that are below your destiny mandate. You will not be reduced to levels you have outgrown. You won’t be taken away.


I decree, your greatness will not be taken away. The greatness of your family will not be taken away. The greatness of your ministry will not be taken away. The greatness of your children will not be taken away. The greatness of your business will not be taken away. The greatness you have built up in your finances will not be taken away. The greatness of your mission and vision will not be taken away. Your greatness will not be stolen.


Again, I pray for you: your greatness will not be short-circuited. Your greatness will not be taken into confinement. The progress you have made under God will not become subject to the wishes of the enemy. The growth you have attained will not be wiped away. Your greatness will be consolidated. As men see you rise, you will rise yet again. As you grow, you will go forward until you become very great like Isaac.


No longer shall it be said that you were great and then became small. You will not rise and fall. Your paths will shine brighter and brighter. Your greatness will not be taken away.


Proverbs 4: 18 says: “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”


Declare With Me: My greatness will not be taken away, in Jesus’ name!
