HURT BY SYSTEMS

“8. So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth. 9. And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people: 10. And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.” (1 Kings 21: 8-10)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jezebel engaged the elders and nobles that were in Naboth’s city, and her goal was to use them to orchestrate the death of Naboth. Notice that Jezebel did not go out of her way to personally kill Naboth; she simply engaged the elders and nobles to get the job done; she engaged the system in order to orchestrate the death of Naboth. She set the system against Naboth, and orchestrated his death.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every Jezebel that will arise to use the systems of men against you, I decree, they will not prevail. I come against every wicked person that is instigating the systems of this world against you. Let the Lord arise and destroy every wicked plot to make you cry bitter tears. Let the Lord arise and destroy every wicked man that wants to turn the hearts of kings and nobles against you. No system will turn against you.

An undiscerning person would imagine that there was an issue between Naboth and the elders and nobles in his city; but it was all orchestrated by Jezebel. Jezebel made the system seem like an enemy of Naboth. She hid behind the system to hurt Naboth. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any man hiding behind a system to hurt you, I decree, let them be exposed and destroyed. No system will cooperate to work against you.

I pray for you: may the systems of this world align to work in your favour. May the systems of men come together to work in your favour. I command the systems of government to work in your favour. I command the arrangements of both friends and foes to work in your favour. I command every system that is currently set against you, to work in your favour. I command every system that turned against you to work for you.

No longer shall it be said that any system of men turned against you. No longer shall wicked men and women hide behind systems to hurt your destiny.

Psalm 59: 2-3 says: “2. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men. 3. Merciless enemies, LORD, are hiding and plotting, hoping to kill me. I have not hurt them in any way at all.”

Declare With Me: Nobody will hide behind the systems of men to hurt my destiny, in Jesus’ name!
