HELPED BY THE EARTH

“15. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.” (Revelations 12: 15-16)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, when the dragon released a flood from his mouth, the earth helped the woman and swallowed the flood which the dragon had released against the woman. The dragon released something which seemed natural as a weapon to chase after the woman, but the earth came to her rescue and swallowed the flood that was meant to swallow her. The earth swallowed what came to swallow the woman.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the earth will help you. The earth will swallow every flood that the enemy sent against you. The earth will discomfit every negativity that is hurled at you. The earth will swallow every opposition that has arisen against you. The earth will work against every system of hell that wants to work against you. The earth will arise and swallow every arrow against you. The earth will arise and help you.

The dragon sent a flood from his mouth, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the flood. The earth gave a response that cancelled out the wicked works of the enemy. The earth went head-to-head against the flood that came for the woman. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the earth will confront every system that wants to confront you. The earth will defeat every system that wants to defeat you. The earth will fight for you.

The earth simply helped the woman. The earth did not work against the woman. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the earth will not work against you. The earth will not receive your body or the bodies of your loved ones until you say so. Your flesh will not be scattered on the earth. Your bones will not be broken on the earth. Your blood will not be spilled on the earth. The earth will not work against you; the earth will work in your favour.

Welcome to that season where the earth will arise and swallow whatever wants to swallow you. Welcome to that season where the earth will help you.

Jeremiah 22: 29 says: “O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.”
