“And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.” (Revelations 12: 2)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The woman in our Focal Scripture, was about to be delivered of her child. Moments of childbirth are usually moments when the woman would have travailed for the birth of the child. A woman could get weak in the process of child birth. In what should have been a weak moment, this particular woman was still clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and with stars in her crown. She may have been weak, but she was still shining.
Friend, the glory of God does not need your strength to shine. It is not a glory you earn; it is a glory He pours out on you. The glory of God is not dependent on your strength. The glory of God is not dependent on your perfection to find expression. The glory of God is not waiting for you to get everything right before it can manifest. When the glory comes, it manifests despite weakness. You may be weak, but the glory will still shine.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: despite your weakness, you will still shine. Despite your weakness, you will still rise to your high places. Despite where you are not capable, you will still shine. Despite where you have fallen out of favour, you will still shine. Despite whatever is not working in your favour at the moment, you will still shine. Despite the circumstances that are not aligned with your interests, you will still shine.
The redemption plan of Jesus is stronger than your weakness. The blood of Jesus has more efficacy than to be stopped by your weakness. For every area of weakness, let the glory of the Lord manifest. Wherever you are weak, let the strength of God be multiplied. Wherever it seems you will fail because of weakness, let the glory of God come through for you. Let your weakness be substituted with glory. Glory will cover your weakness.
Welcome to your new season of glory that cannot be stopped by your weakness. Welcome to that season where your weakness will be substituted by the strength of God.
2 Corinthians 12: 9 says: “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Declare With Me: My weakness is replaced by the glory of God, in Jesus’ name!
