DIVINELY NOURISHED

“And to the woman were agiven two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” (Revelations 12: 14)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the woman that brought forth her man child, received wings to fly into the wilderness, where she was to be nourished. Ordinarily, a wilderness is a place of dryness; but in what should be a dry place, this woman was to be nourished for a time spanning over three years. She was going to be nourished despite the dryness in her environment. She was to be nourished in the midst of dryness.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the dryness in your environment, you will still be nourished. No matter the dryness in the economy, you will still be nourished. No matter the dryness in your locale, your supplies will not be cut short. No matter how dry things become around you, it will never stand in the way of your sustenance. The same places that are considered dry will supply your portion, that you may be nourished.

God decided to create a place where this woman would be nourished, and He chose a place in the wilderness. Her nourishment happened in the wilderness. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your nourishment will happen despite the wilderness. No matter how dry the finances of others become, yours will not be dry. No matter how other people’s businesses become dry, yours will not be dry. You will flourish even if others are dry.

God does not need the environment to be at its best before He can cause you to be nourished. If El Roi is involved, He can make a well show up for you in the wilderness. When El Roi is involved, your supplies will not necessarily match with your wilderness. Men will be seeing your wilderness, but you will be in the wilderness, enjoying nourishment which comes by the hand of the Lord. You will be nourished even in dry places.

Welcome to your season of nourishment by El Roi, even in the wilderness. Welcome to that season where dryness will not stop your nourishment.

Isaiah 51: 3 says: “For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.”

Declare With Me: No matter the dryness around me, I will be nourished by El Roi, in Jesus’ name!
