“And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.” (Matthew 28: 2)


That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.


In our Focal Scripture, the Angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled back the stone from the door of the sepulcher. The women who were on their way to Jesus’ sepulcher, had wondered how the stone may be rolled away; but before they got there, an angel had already rolled away the stone. Angelic help had already come through for them before they got there. Heaven already unlocked the sepulcher before they got there.


Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: before you arrive, help will be waiting. Before you arrive, the doors and gates would have been opened. Before you arrive, El Roi would have done for you what you cannot do for yourself. Before you arrive, everything would have turned around for your good. Before you arrive, the Lord would have overturned and overturned until your portion becomes yours. The Lord goes ahead of you with help.


The help that came to those women did not come from mere mortals. It came from above. They received help from above. They received help to conquer the arrangements that were made to stop Jesus’ resurrection. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the help from heaven will unseat the wickedness that is designed to stop you. The help from heaven will scatter the satanic arrangements the enemy made to hinder your progress.


I pray for you: may the portals of help from above be opened to you. May the doors of help be opened to you. May God send you help to achieve what you ordinarily cannot achieve by yourself. May God send you help that will save you from needless embarrassment. May God send you help that will place you ahead of the wicked plans of those who are against you. May God send you help that will defeat your adversaries.


Welcome to your season of divine help. Welcome to that season where help will be waiting before you arrive.


Psalm 46: 5 says: “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.”


Declare With Me: Before I arrive, help will be waiting, in Jesus’ name!
