CLEARED BEFORE HARVEST

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13: 30)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the householder instructed that at the time of harvest, the tares would first be gathered into bundles, and burnt. The tares were to be dealt with before even the wheat would then be gathered and kept in the barn. The whole idea was that before the main harvest of the wheat would be gathered, the tares would have been taken off. Negativity was taken off the field first, before even the harvest arrived.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: before your harvest arrives, every negativity would have been taken away. Before your new season arrives, the old struggles of the old season would have been taken away. Before your congratulations arrive, the wickedness that you were once surrounded with would have been swept away. Before your helpers arrive, the Lord would have cleared every negativity that you have been battling with.

I pray for you: may the Lord clear every negativity in your health. May the Lord clear the negativity that existed in your family even before you were born. May the Lord clear every negativity that is holding you hostage in your career. May the Lord clear every negativity that has imprisoned your destiny for days and years. May the Lord clear every negativity that wants to make you cry bitter tears. May the Lord clear the negativity around you.

Your harvest will not arrive and you will still be complaining of tares. Your new season will not arrive and you will still be surrounded by challenges of the old season. You will not enter into your new and still smell like the old. You will not rise to your new levels and still be battling with the same old issues that bedeviled your old level. You will not reach your harvest season and still be fighting with the tares your enemies planted.

Welcome to your season of harvest without hassles. Welcome to that season where every negativity will be cleared before your harvest arrives.

Psalm 67: 7 says: “God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”
