ATTACK THE ENEMY

“He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?” (Matthew 13: 28)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
When the servants of the householder told him about the tares which they had seen in his fields, his response was “An enemy hath done this”. The householder did not focus on the weakness or sleep of his servants. He focused on the root of the issue, which is the enemy. He realized that what he saw was coming from an enemy. He understood the enemy to be at work, beyond the weakness or sleep of his servants.
Friend, look beyond what you are seeing and understand that the enemy is behind every negativity. Look beyond the human faces around you and go against the enemy that is working against you. Look beyond the people you feel that are sabotaging you, and look towards the enemy that is using them to work against you. Don’t be obsessed with fighting the people you believe are against you, and see the enemy behind the scene.
Don’t be obsessed with the misbehavior of your children and forget that the enemy is behind it. Don’t be carried away when you face negativity, and forget that the enemy might just be using the people around you to hurt you. Don’t waste all your time pointing fingers at people around you, and forget the enemy at work. Don’t be too focused on the servants that slept, and forget the enemy that came and took advantage of them.
Go against the enemy in the place of prayer. Decree that he may have gone thus far, but not any further. Tear down the walls of the enemy. Take the battle to the gates of the enemy. Man your gates in the place of prayer. Oppose the works and workers of darkness that are operating around you. Stand strong in prayers and resist the enemy so that he can flee from you. Use your prayers to put every enemy to flight.
Remember, it is not all about the servants that slept; it’s about the enemy that took advantage of them. Crush the enemy. Don’t let the gates of hell prevail.
Psalm 7: 9 says: “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.”
Declare With Me: Every wicked hand stretched against me, wither by fire, in Jesus’ name!
