THE VOICE OF HELP

“And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.” (Acts 12: 13)


That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.


When Peter came to the place where prayers were being made on his behalf, a damsel named Rhoda showed up at the gate. Peter needed to connect with the people in the house, and the first person who came to his rescue was the gatekeeper named Rhoda. The help that Peter received in prison was birthed in that house, but Peter could not enter in until Rhoda showed up. Rhoda was like the connector to the help that Peter received.


Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, may you be connected to those who will connect you to the help you need. May you be connected to those who will link you to the answers to your prayers. May heaven connect you to those who will connect you to your answers. May heaven connect you to those who will help you achieve all that you desire to achieve. May heaven connect you to those who will connect you to quick help.


Rhoda showed up, and announced to those in the house that Peter had arrived. She was an announcer to Peter. Hear me as I hear the Lord: may God connect you to announcers of destiny. May God connect you to those who will announce your capacity. May God connect you to those who will announce your ministry, business, career, vocation, etc. May God connect you to those who will put your name in the ears of your those you need.


Notice also that because of Rhoda, the gate was opened for Peter. Because of Rhoda, Peter gained access. Hear me as I hear the Lord: may you be connected to those that will cause major doors and gates to be opened to you. May you be connected to those who will cause you to gain access to high places. May God connect you to those who will cause you to be accepted in the places you desire to be in. May God send you gate openers.


Welcome to that season where you will never lack the help of those who will connect you to more help. Welcome to that season where heaven will connect you to announcers and door openers.


Psalm 118: 7 says: “The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.”


Declare With Me: I connect to men who will connect me to more help, in Jesus’ name!
