SET A BOUNDARY

“But you shall surround the king on all sides, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes within range, let him be put to death. You are to be with the king as he goes out and as he comes in.” (2 Kings 11: 8 NKJV)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jehoiada gave an instruction for the men of war to maintain a garrison around Joash, and anyone who came within the range was to be put to death. So, a range was set around Joash, and no man was to cross the range. A boundary was set around Joash, and no man was permitted to cross the boundary. No invader was permitted to cross the boundary. No opposer was permitted to cross the range.

Friend, there is a range around you; there is a boundary line, set against the enemy; there is a wall of fire from the Lord, protecting you on all sides; and anyone who dares to cross the line will be consumed. Any invader that wants to cross the range the Lord set for you, will be consumed. Any opposer that wants to cross the lines that the Lord set for you, will be gutted by the power of God. Any hater that wants to come close to harm you, fire.

The priest set men of war with weapons, to guard the king. The range was a guarded range. The boundary was a guarded boundary. The boundary line that the Lord has set around you is guarded. No negativity will cross over. No wickedness of the enemy will cross over. No affliction will cross over. No enemy activity will penetrate. No conspiracy of the wicked will prevail. Angels are on guard; if the enemies come close, fire.

Joash may have been too young to be king; he may have been too young to fight for himself; but there was a range set around him by the priest. Walk in the consciousness that there is a boundary line around you. Walk in the reality that God Himself has set a range around you. Walk with the confidence that some things can only come close but never penetrate. Walk with the faith that divine judgement awaits your opposers.

Welcome to that season where no invader will cross the range that the Lord has set around you. Welcome to that season where the judgement of God will reply every satanic invader.

Zechariah 2: 5 says: “For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”

Declare With Me: The Lord stands as a wall of fire around me; no invader will cross over, in Jesus’ name!
