SECRET WOUNDS

“Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.” (Luke 8: 44)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the woman with the issue of blood came behind Jesus and touched the border of His garment, and her issue of blood immediately ‘stanched’. The word ‘stanched’ means to stop the flow of blood from a wound. Could it be that there was a wound inside of this woman that led to this issue of blood? Could it be that she spent all her time seeking to stop the flow, without healing the wound?

Friend, I pray for you: may El Roi locate and heal every wound that is responsible for your ‘issue of blood’. May the Lord cure every affliction you are currently suffering from its roots. May the Lord root out every negativity He did not plant in your life. May the Lord cause every root of negativity in you to dry up. May the Lord cause every source of pain and shame in your life to be rooted out. May negativity be taken out from its roots.

The problem with the wound of the woman with the issue of blood was that the wound was situated where her eyes could not see. She could see the flow of blood, but she had no idea that her problem was coming from a wound that eyes could not see. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every wound of affliction that is hiding where eyes cannot see, may the Lord arise and heal it. May the Lord arise and heal every secret wound that has positioned you for public shame.

Every hidden wound in any part of your life, the hand of the Lord is against it. Every satanic wound that is causing you to suffer losses, I command it to disappear by fire. Every satanic wound that is exposing you to pain and ridicule, let the Lord arise and heal it. Every wound that is hidden from your eyes but is causing you untold hardship, let the right hand of the Lord that doeth valiantly erase it. Let every source of negativity be swallowed.

The season where secret wounds will cause you public shame, is over. No more secret wounds. No more sources of negativity.

Matthew 15: 13 says: “But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”

Declare With Me: Every root of negativity in my life is rooted out; no more secret wounds, in Jesus’ name!
