NO NEGATIVITY

“And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:” (Luke 18: 35)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how there was a certain blind man who sat by the wayside begging. There was a condition of blindness, and it led this man to also sit by the wayside, begging. The name of this blind man was not mentioned, but his condition was mentioned. What he suffered became his identity. What he suffered became his description. What he suffered became his identity. His troubles swallowed his true identity.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no negativity will swallow your identity. Nothing that comes to you from the pit of hell will swallow your identity. Your health challenge will not swallow your identity. Your marital issues will not swallow your identity. Your battles will not swallow your identity. The arrows of hell shot against you will not swallow your identity. Whatever the enemy planted in your life will not swallow your identity.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: no negativity will replace your identity in Christ. No battle that is raised against you will swallow your identity in Christ. No challenge you face will reduce or decimate your identity in Christ. No system of hell will cause your identity in Christ to be reduced. No power of hell will cause your identity in Christ to be reduced or replaced. No trouble that comes your way will replace your identity in Christ.

If Jesus has redeemed you, then your identity in Him in sacrosanct, nothing missing and nothing broken. If Jesus has redeemed you, no power of hell and no scheme of man can pluck you from His hands. If Jesus has redeemed you, then walk in the consciousness of whom He has made you already. Live in the reality of your God given identity. Live in the consciousness of who you are in Christ. Live out the reality of your identity in Christ.

If it is not of God, then it is not your identity. If God did not call you by the name of that negativity, then it is not your identity.

Isaiah 56: 5 says: “Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.”

Declare With Me: No negativity will replace my identity, in Jesus’ name!
