NO LOSS

“And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.” (Exodus 1: 16)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

When Pharaoh reached out to the Hebrew midwives, he wanted them to kill the male children of the Hebrew women, while leaving the daughters alive. Men (males) are carriers of seed. So, Pharaoh’s idea was for them to kill the carriers of seed. He wanted to kill their seed. He wanted to kill those who could cause the people to multiply. He wanted to finish off those who could activate the next level of multiplication amongst them.

The deception of the enemy is for people to be focused on their harvest, yet forgetting the seeds that should yield the harvest. There is a generation that is pro-harvest, but not pro-seed. There is a generation that lets their seed die, while hoping for a harvest that cannot come because there is no seed. Your seed is that thing that can birth a harvest. Your seed is your effort, dedication, consecration, prayer fire, capacity, etc.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: every power of hell that has come to destroy your seed, I command it to break by fire. Every relationship that has come to cut down your capacity and focus, I decree, let it scatter by fire. I command every attack against your seed to end by fire. I command every attack against your focus, commitment, dedication, consecration, etc. to go down by fire. I crush every attack against your seed.

Every laziness, distraction, loss of focus, lack of consistency, prayerlessness, sinful living, etc. is a set up to cause your seed to die. Every time the devil takes your eyes away from the foundations of your productivity, he is simply seeking a chance to make you as ordinary as possible. If it can make you great, don’t let the enemy destroy it. If it has the potentials to grow and make your name known in the nations, then don’t let anyone kill it.

May it never be said that you were so focused on your harvest, but forgot to do the needful with regards to your seed. May you never lose your seed.

John 10: 10 says: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
