HOLY TROUBLE

“Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” (Luke 18: 5)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the unjust judge said that he would avenge the widow, because she was troubling him. The judicial system that was earlier skewed against the widow, eventually bowed because she continued to trouble the judge. She gave trouble to the judge until he got tired. She troubled the system until the system bowed. She troubled the system to submission. She troubled the system until the system gave up.

Friend, you belong to that generation that gives holy trouble. You are of that generation that troubles systems until they bow. You are of that generation that keeps systems on their toes. You are of that generation that makes systems to bow to their knees. You are of that generation that causes holy trouble. You are of that generation that causes protocols to be broken. You are of that generation that gives holy trouble to systems of hell.

Arise and shake every evil foundation until it crumbles. Shake every satanic mystery in the place of prayer. Unsettle the whims and caprices of the enemy with your confessions and declarations. Make the devil mad with your rugged faith and refuse to accept whatever is not of God. Keep pushing and pressing against the arrangements of hell that want to become your new normal. Trouble every ‘unjust judge’.

The unjust judge did not opt to rule in favour of the widow because he ordinarily wanted to rule in her favour. He ruled in her favour because she kept troubling him. If you keep troubling the systems of hell, they will shift grounds. If you keep praying, things will shift. If you keep praying, systems will bow. If you keep praying, things will turn around. If you keep praying, even the enemy will give up on you.

Don’t let the enemy prevail in your territory. Don’t allow the enemy to have a free pass around you. Be that holy troubler that will trouble systems to submission.

James 5: 16 says: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Declare With Me: I will give holy trouble to systems until they bow, in Jesus’ name!
