DIVINELY JUDGED

“But Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them, Have her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of the LORD.” (2 Kings 11: 15)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the priest commanded that Athaliah be taken out of the temple and killed. This was the same woman who had slain the entire seed royal; this was the same woman who had killed everyone who was capable of becoming king; this was the same woman who went against the system of heaven for kingship in Judah; and the priest ordered that she be taken out and killed. Judgement located Athaliah after all her wicked works.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the judgement of God is coming upon all the wicked works that have been unleashed against you. For every satanic conspiracy against you, the judgement of God is awaiting the haters who made it happen. For every trap they set for you, the judgement of God is waiting for them. If they ever arise to pull you down, the mighty hands of the Lord will bring them down. Judgement is locating the Athaliahs.

Athaliah had begun her wickedness in Judah by killing all that were qualified to be king. When judgement came her way, it was the judgement of death. The same thing she did against the seed royal, was done against her. Hear me as I hear the Lord: when the judgement of God arrives at the doorsteps of your Athaliah, whatever they ever planned against you will be their portion. Whatever they ever did against you will backfire against them.

Notice that the priest also ordered that anyone who followed after Athaliah or tried to rescue her, should be killed. Anyone who tried to show solidarity towards Athaliah, was going to suffer the same fate. When the judgement of God arrives against your adversaries, it will be enough to reach those who want to support your adversaries. When the judgement of God arrives, even the supporters of your haters will get their own portion.

Welcome to that season where the hand of the Lord will be heavy against your opposers and their supporters. Welcome to that season where those who rise against you shall fall for your sake.

Jeremiah 30: 23 says: “Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.”

Declare With Me: Every Athaliah that has arisen against me shall fall for my sake, in Jesus’ name!
