BE TERRITORIAL

“So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth.” (1 Kings 21: 8)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture captures that moment when Jezebel engaged the elders and nobles of the city where Naboth lived, in a bid to take Naboth down. Jezebel did not bother to start a personal fight with Naboth. She simply engaged the men of the city to get the job done. She engaged the men in Naboth’s territory, to get the job done. Jezebel used the territory of Naboth against him. She was territorial in her approach.

Friend, one wisdom you need in 2026 and beyond, is to be territorial. Take control of the territory where you are. Take control of the territory around you. Control your territory before another man uses same against you. Be territorial in your ministry, career, business, finances, etc. Be intentionally territorial. Be mindful of taking charge of your city and nation in the place of prayer. Take over your territory prophetically.

Naboth was a good man, but did not control his territory; in the end, a wicked woman used his territory against him. The territory he failed to control, became his own nemesis. If you fail to control your territory, you will be a victim of those who control it. If you fail to command your territory, you may become a victim of the wicked commands that other men have given to your territory. It is dangerous to leave your territory to wicked men.

Arise and take over your territory. Take charge of the spiritual atmosphere of your location. Take charge of the hearts of men in your location. Prophetically and prayerfully take control in the realm of the spirit. It is the spiritual that controls the physical. Use your spiritual warfare in Christ to take charge of your physical environment. Command kings in the place of prayer. Command your city and nation in prayers.

Don’t allow wicked men to take charge of your territory ahead of you. Use your prophetic proclamations to control your territory.

Joshua 1: 3 says: “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.”

Declare With Me: I arise and take over territories; no wicked man will control my territory, in Jesus’ name!
